I'm not sure why I'm surprised though. He's not a flashy player, he's not a showy player.

I turned it off. Aldridge was just floating out there and it's obvious he isn't going to get much burn, plus I'm not really interested in seeing zero defense and a bunch of dunks.

It's one of the reasons I don't much care if there is a blazer there.

Was hoping LMA would knock down a few open J's and he would get a decen trun. Not happening dunno if scotty brooks just doesn't like him because he ALWAYS kills them or its just his non flashy game.

The guy was only out there for like 3 minutes. Kind of bullshit. I guess they want Kobe to get that record.

With the burn that Nash is getting now, he'll be close to the total that LaMarcus got in the 1st half, for fewest minutes. And not just the fewest minutes for the west, the fewest minutes of any player in the game.

And Nash is in his 100th ASG and old, so there's no point in playing him lots of minutes.

This smells similar to when Paul Westphal played Drexler (a starter, iirc) hardly any minutes.

I look forward to watching LaMarcus destroy the Thunder for this slight.

Beavers vs. Ducks game is a much better game. There's a competitive aspect to it. The reason I watch sports.

That was the year Drexler played 5 minutes and Paul Westphals 3 guys played almost 40 each right?

    something like that.

I remember the next time the Suns played in Portland, they showed his smug face on the screen and he was boo'd loudly. And he looked up and was like "what? "

LA might have told the coach he didn't care about his mins and to play other people.

    yeah, 1993.

    http://www.basketball-reference.com/allstar/NBA_1993.html

drexler played 11 minutes. Second fewest of any player on both teams, and only Shawn Klump played fewer minutes.

Barkley and Thunder Dan played more minutes (well, it made sense for Barkley).

I don't know if Drexler asked to play fewer minutes, but I remember Westphal saying that he just forgot about him.
