It was an opinion. Kinda like how people had the opinion that Aldridge should have been an AS last year. They were wrong so I shouldn't believe it had any merit.

Personally I don't think 39, 40 and 41 years old Nash = "contention" with the way the rest of the roster is put together.

What is your point? That Felton isn't an all-star? That he should have been?

My stance was that he wasn't playing at (or near) an all-star level, despite what the media was trying to say.

That Felton was in the running for AS team in the East last year.

Speaking of Felton........ Our kids elementary school auction was this weekend. Every year I get some cool stuff for the auction. Round of golf with the Mikes at Pumpkin Ridege, signed shoes, jersey, ball.... whatever. One of the items this year the new trainer gave me some autographed shoes from Ray........ sad to report NOT ONE FUCKING PERSON bid on them!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA! Serious! How sad is that?

What do you do with them then? Does the money go to your kids school? I guess I don't really have much money to donate, not sure why I ask, but would be cool to have. $50? guess the shoes by themselves are worth more, huh.

So you'd prefer to not make it out of the first round for the next 10 years as long as you keep Batum? Really? You'd prefer 10 years of no playoffs?

    The question was two choices:

    1) WCF this year

    Or

    2) no first round win or no playoffs for the next 10 years

Some people want to stay mediocre or tear down the team and truly suck. I prefer trying to win now. Thus, we should trade for Nash.

Size 12s....... I believe they are going to sell them online and the proceeds would go to the school. But they are in my basement and whoever wants them on here I'd sell them to and pass the money on.

Seems like it's obvious to me, but Portland lost their championship opportunity when Oden turned into Samuel Jackson's character from Unbreakable, and then Roy's knees decided to leave him shortly afterward.

Drafting Rudy Gay over Roy wouldn't have done anything other than mean the team would have been worse, and both KP and Nate would have been fired a long time ago.

Drafting Oden over Durant is just another bizarre circumstance, which at the time seemed like a lock no matter who was picked, for an organization that seems to keep its head above water most of the time, in spite of what fate has already determined for them.

I suggest that many of you who post here should start reading Shakespeare. Many of his works will help you come to grips with being a Blazer fan.
