He has played really well in summer league, averaging 23 ppg and close to 8 apg. So will he make the team? How many minutes a game will he get if he makes the squad? And finally, how well will he do if he plays for the Rockets?

Well it depends what JVG wants to do with him.PG: Rafer AlstonSG: Tracy McGrady or Kirk SnyderSF: Shane Battier or Tracy McGradyPF: Juwan Howard or Shane BattierC: Yao MingThats how the roster might look like if we don't do any more moves. V-Span and JLIII are obviously going to come off for Rafer. Bob Sura...I don't really know about how his condition is right now so I can't say anything yet. Luther Head is either going to start or come off for Kirk Snyder.

JVG said he can play the PF position and he might put him there at times.

I dont think he can play PF either. You just need to go get Melvin Ely or another backup Power Forward..

Why didn't you put Chuck Hayes behind Battier, he's obviously going to be on the roster and play minutes. Also, watching summer league, they said Rockets expect Novak to get minutes at the 4 as well.

I think they need to pick up a Power forward though. Juwan Howard and Chuck Hayes won't be enough if they want to have success this year..

Oh, I completely forgot about Hayes. CB4...Don't underestimate Hayes. Hayes can get the job done. A few years I see him averaging 10 RPG. I wanna get rid of Mr. Bean though [IMG].

He happens to be third in the NBA in rebounds per 48, 2nd in offensive rebounds per 48, and 10th in defensive rebounds per 48. With more minutes this season (minimum twenty, I think he could average a good 10/8 at least.Anyway, back to Lucas. With the signing of Spanoulis, he's probably only going to be third-string (like Hayes last year), and not so many minutesm even if Spanoulis is played more at shooting guard than point guard. Nevertheless, I think he'll be decent. He played last year, did a pretty good job, hopefully he'll improve from there.
