<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>SI.com - Nene finally signed a six-year, $60 million contract on Thursday with the Denver Nuggets . The contract was agreed upon in early July while Nene was on his honeymoon. The Nuggets called an afternoon news conference with Nene, coach George Karl and director of player personnel Mark Warkentien to discuss the deal</div> Still no word on Elson, but they said it will be at the 11th hour. Bad move on Nugs part, to possibly make a player wait to the last minute for your decision. Least you guys locked up Nene, even though damn that's a large contract. What's happening with Evans?

Reggie Evans is always one of the first players I list as underrated in the threads when he was at Seattle. Nene re-signing was news to me when it was agreed upon, I thought he would move places. Denver is blessed to keep him.I'm guessing if KMart gets traded for QRich or a guard like him, then Elson will probably stay. Otherwise, he'll be a Spur.

It's so funny how he emancipated his last name. But on ESPN and Yahoo and sites other than NBA.com, they still have "Hilario" listed. I think this was a smart move since DEN don't got much front court depth.
