We probably would have done better doubling LeBron and Wade on the catch. That's how bad their D is.

18 points off turnovers for MIA... cut that to 6 and we have a game.

To kill time TNT is talking subject matter usually saved for after the game--e.g. showing graphics of tonight's NBA news and notes. They are hemming and hawing and straining.

Officials are definitely taking this game more seriously than either team. Who give a fuck if the team up by 14 gets 2 shots or 2 and the ball?

Congrats. You just proved you know more about this team than Nate, Chad, or Larry! It's sad that the fans have a better grasp of what is happening than the paid professionals.

Need to pawn off all these stupid vets for some picks or long term assets...

I wonder if we can trade Nate for a future 1st rounder....

LeBron is the most agile guy his size in any sport. Everyone looks like a stiff compared to him. He's so damn fluid when the game isn't on the line.

Good news. Hollinger formula says we moved up tonight from 6th to 4th.

What a clusterfuck this team has become.

I'd hoped that Nate would have been gone for a few years by now. . .,
but it's glaringly obvious that this team needs new management. ie. Coaching staff, nutritionist, medical and, um gee, I don't know, how about a fucking GM?

Really the only hope of salvation, imo, is trade G Wallace (as much as i love him as a player) for picks, along with Matthews, Felton, Crawford and Camby.
Possibly snag a young point in a trade, then, run the young guns, see what they've got and get active in free agency.

One things for sure though, if McMillan is still the coach next season my fanship will be sorely tested by these Vulcan morons. . .

    LeBron's statline is pretty insane:

    38 points 11 rebounds 6 assists 5 steals 1 block (A hilarious rejection on Donuts) 0 turnovers....

I dont really understand the hype with Batum. Tons of Blazer fans rate him like the second coming of Drexler. Yes he's been the 2nd best Blazer this season, but is that really saying much? He can hardly take over a game as a primary option and doesn't have the handles/play making abilities to create for others. If I had the chance at trading him for an allstar PG, I'd take it.

Gotta factor in 'Nate's system' when evaluating Batum.
Imagine an offense that used him as a non-primary option and ran plays for him instead of asking him to stand in the corner.

Also, at only 23, Batum has room to mature BBIQ/experience wise and, perhaps, physically adding strength.
If he could add strength, and, with experience, add some consistency; then look out.

He's really is a promising young player, and I often think if he'd look somewhat more polished and further progressed if San Antonio had of gotten him in the draft, as they had wished.
He'd certainly be utilised more appropriately.

Well that's certainly a nice strawman argument you've got there. I've never heard one person compare him to Drexler. Most people see him as maybe the second coming of Tayshaun Prince if he fully develops (with maybe a little more offense?). And as far as trading him for an all-star point guard, what makes you think there's actually a deal like that out there to be made?

I'm not saying he should be untouchable, but I'd sure as hell think long and hard before trading him for an ancient Steve Nash or a head-case Rondo.

So you wouldn't trade Tayshaun Prince for Steve Nash? lol

Would you trade 5+ years of Tayshaun Prince for 60 days of Nash?

Nic is better than Tayshaun now. I'm thinking he peaks somewhere around Deng/AK47 at his peak.
