David Desharnais' shootout goal snapped the slumping Montreal Canadiens out of a long losing streak and saved them from what could have been the worst defeat of them all. Desharnais scored in regulation and in a shootout as the Canadiens pulled out a 5-4 win over the Minnesota Wild, despite blowing a three-goal lead in the third period on Thursday night.
