13 days....... 7 games....... This is a huge trip. Some days off between games, so that will help, but man oh man this is going to be tough. @Minny @Boston @DC @Indy @NYC @Chicago @OKC We fly out the day before the Wolves game, get into town about 3:30. Now there is a day off between Minny and Boston. Celtics/Wiz are back to back, but then we have 2 days off before Indy/NYC back to back. Then we finish up day off....Bulls.... day off..... Thunder. The guys are gonna be beat for what looks to be the 2 toughest teams on the trip unfortunately. We HAVE to take these 2 games at home before we hit the road!
I hate when we have trips like this, and jump around the east/midwest. I know they are all relatively quick flights, and making up the schedule for all of the teams is difficult. Just seems like going DC, over to Indy, back east to NY, and then back to Chicago is really stupid travel planning. When a quick trip down the east, Boston, NY, DC and then over to Indy and Chicago would make more sense. I remmeber last year or the year before we had a trip where we did something dumb like N.O., Minnesota, OKC, or something stupid like that.
Does seem like a lot of bouncing back and forth! Later this season I think we play Dallas/Bucks back to back!
Just in time for the trade deadline... A 1-6 roadie, followed by dumping Wallace, Felton, Crawford and Camby for whatever we can get for them puts us in the running for great lotto position...
Him and Brock cant not post negative things (although its hard to look on the bright side when it seems like your team doesnt care about playing hard for a win)
I might go to the Chicago game. I'm in town for St. Paddy's day and the game is the night before (although I might just get drunk and eat a steak instead of the game). HCP, if you want to get wasted on Saturday morning after the game if you guys are still in Chi-town, holla. staying on magnificant mile, right next to the river.
I'm right across the bridge at Hotel 71. :MARIS61: we'll be getting into some trouble that night after the game. will hit you up closer to that day. probably start drinking at 9am on st paddys day and going all day/all night.
I don't know what their record will be, but I believe without a doubt that the outcome of these 7 games will determine whether this team gets blown up or finally puts something together and maybe finally does something in the post-season. It'll be interesting to see what they're made of.
The way the Blazers have been playing recently, it is HARD to pick them as a sure thing on any of these games. Either the team is going to get their shit together and play as a group while on the road, win 3 or 4 of these games, and keep the season from falling off the cliff - or they are going to go down in flames on this trip, and all hell will break loose. Good Luck HCP. Stay out of the crossfire!
