Clips need an SG badly and we could possibly trade Jamal for Bledsoe. However, I really know very little about him, I think he played fairly well for them as a rook last year. Is he enough of a PGOTF candidate to do a Crawford for Bledsoe trade with whatever salary filler necessary from the Clips?

PGOTF? I'd settle for PGOTP -- point guard of the present.

Anyway, Bledsoe is intriguing ... he looked OK for a rookie the few times I saw him play last year, but then again he didn't exactly look great either. I'd definitely take the risk though.

He looks like yet another PG prospect. Why are you guys so high on him?

Here's a couple comments about him from another forum:

"the only way he's a PGOTF candidate is if PGOTF = D-League

he's short, he can't shoot from the perimeter, and he commits 2 turnovers for every 3 assists. Not only that, he's due 1.7 million next season. Nolan Smith is probably better

Just letting Crawford wall away this summer is a much better opting then adding Bledsoe"

    Here's another one:

"He's not worth Crawesome. Not even close. At this point, I don't think he's even better than Nolan Smith. As Bledsoe's "rididculous potential" fails to translate into any form of tangible skill, you'll see him become the next victim of the NCAA hype train. The guy had no business entering the draft and probably should've been a 3-4 year college player."

He has some downfalls but he plays hard and supposedly is the first clipper in the building and the last to leave. So he has the drive and desire plus the work ethic but I do not know if has the intangibles to be great. If I don't think he could be great id rather give the reins to Smith and see what he can do. I really would need to see him more before I can call him an upgrade over Nolan.

No offense, but who fucking cares what a bunch of hacks on a message board writes about a player on another team that hardly ever plays?

At some point this team is going to have to draft their PGOTF like most small or mid markets have to or take a chance on a young prospect from another team panning out before they blow up and turn into a good to great player -- once they show they can really play they become almost impossible to prise away from another team, unless you want to pay through the nose.

Could this kid really be any worse than Felton?
