Rip makes a difference. I didn't see the game, but I think Rip really helps Luol to get free on the perimeter, and even Ronnie benefited.

Too bad Mr. Irving couldn't play.

This team is something. You think they're playing okay, and then you look at the score, and they're up by 20. I don't think the Cavs played poorly either. This was my first chance to see Tristan Thompson in extended minutes. I'm not sure what to think: there's no ceiling for him, good hands, great length, good athlete. He just doesn't look good at basketball yet though, for lack of a 5000 word dissertation.

This 2011 draft was strange. A bunch of players look pretty good but they're scattered throughout the draft. Kyrie Irving, Derrick Williams and Jonas Valančiūnas at the top. Klay Thompson and Nikola Vucevic in the middle. Nikola Mirotić, Reggie Jackson, and MarShon Brooks toward the end of the first round. And Kyle Singler, Chandler Parsons and John Leuer toward the top of the second round. It looks to me like, at least at this juncture, a lot of teams may have gotten burned chasing potential over production, but it's obviously still too early to tell.

We're sort of like the Tim Duncan of basketball teams. Silent but deadly. I agree that we frequently outplay our opponents more than subjective observation would lead you to believe.

Even in games we win by 25, you'd never get the impression we were dominating. We just keep on truckin'
