It depends: How many times will he say 'we have to get connected' and 'we have to commit defensively'?
What do you mean? Did it go something like this, "Well, we just got outworked and uuuhhh we got outscrapped......"
It's also hard to run a break when you're taking the ball out of the net. The lack of knowledge of team defense is staggering. It seems like decision-making and recognition skills are getting worse.
What's more likely: Nate became a worse defense coach this year or the new players are worse defenders?
Interesting. Wallace actually shows up...and LMA goes MIA. Cause, effect, coincidence, or conspiracy? Just asking the question shows how wrong this season has gone!
It's more depressing than usual when we play against a team like Minnesota; usually i only have to watch a team that has two PG's better than any one on the Blazers. Tonight had to watch a team with three better! I don't think Felton should ever be allowed on the court with the Blazers again; nor even in the locker room. Canzano may be exaggerating about how many involved but I think every one knows that Felton is one malcontent. And his play on the court showed absolutely no enthusiasm tonight, along with his usual lack of knowing how to run a team. Although sometimes I have this sneaking suspicion that more of this is on Nate. I feel like Felton and Wallace might actually need and want more structure on offense, but they want more creative stuff and stuff that they actually practice so that it has a chance at being successful. Wallace is strong enough mentally that he usually just plays on but Felton isn't so he just gives up.
