I agree with that statement; which is why I think it's important for our team to trade for a PG. If it's not Nash or Rondo; we can get a PG somewhere in the league. I mean Felton is nearly dead last in production for a PG. Hell if we can't trade for one, then release the dead beat and sign Patty Mills to take his place.

I think the team gives up so much defensively with him as the starter that it adds up to a push when it comes to who is more effective at the starting point guard spot. Personally, I don't much care which guy starts or who comes off the bench; this season appears to be quickly devolving into a tire fire regardless of who gets the nod.

If it gets to that point, hopefully the team has the wherewithal to move one or the other (or both?) for some usable assets (picks or some boom-bust type prospects) and just gives Nolan Smith, Elliot Williams and Babbitt big minutes to see if they actually are worth a damn and look to retool the roster over the summer (and beyond).

If Nolan were better than Felton at PG, Nate would be playing him. I mean, we all know Nate plays favorites, but Nate's not that attached to Felton -- it's not like he's from Seattle or something.

I am 100% on board with trading Felton and Crawford and opening up time to evaluate Nolan, E-Will and Babbitt.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
The defense looks like crap no matter who's in. I mean, I agree that notionally Felton is the superior defender...but the team should be at least a decent defensive team even with Crawford when you have guys like Camby, Wallace, Batum, Aldridge and Matthews around him. It feels to me like they don't have any real idea how to play team defense together or else they've checked out. In either case, I don't think Felton is going to change the defensive destiny much, so I'd rather see some competent offense.

Also, I don't think the defensive difference between Felton and Crawford, even in the best of cases, is worth the massive difference in their production levels.
