Veteran goaltender Marty Turco practiced with the Boston Bruins Wednesday afternoon at Ristuccia Arena. But at about 12:02 p.m. ET, two minutes after the noon waiver deadline, Turco stepped onto the ice to join his new team. Turco was dressed and ready to go for practice, but had to wait for official word from general manager Peter Chiarelli that he had cleared waivers and was eligible to practice.
