I definitely agree with it. A human life is precious. Right now your life is cheap. A serial killer got only 25 years, and after that a chance for parole. That is cheap.
The Death Penatly costs way too much money, often times over a million dollars just for one person. It's just a waste of taxpayer money. It's cheaper just to keep them in prison for life.
I disagree with it. Like BCB said, it costs too much money, also if I was in prison for life, I would rather have the chair to get my life over with than rot in jail.
I think that the death penalty should only go to people who have committed 3 murders or more or something like that. I think that a person staying in jail for life is bad enough for a person that committed one murder. I dont want that to sound like only committing one murder is bad, but life in prison must suck.

they should change it then. like i said. put them on missile testing grounds and blow them up. you can kill way more than 1 person at a time. i dont see why the have to make it expensive just quick and painless. boom.

ok then maybe their bodies can be donated for live human testing as punishment. there are better things to do with a life.

When they're convicted, just kill them immediately. And I really don't see the difference between hanging, and say lethal injections. As long as it's quick and painless, then it makes no difference.

Bring back the Guillotine!!! jkI am biased on the death penalty...like i can see why it should be there, but then i could see why it shouldnt be there...! Becuase what if someone didnt actually commit the murder.. and in 10 years they find that out and if u already killed that guy then thats BS.... But i agree if someone kills like 20 people i think they should get the death penalty!

injection is not quick and painless. they insert three drugs. and the first one is one that completely paralyzes you so you are unable to move make sounds etc. and the one that kills takes 30 seconds at least to destroy your body functions and kill you which by the way is a severely painful experience.

For me it really depends on the situation. Yeah, if the person is a proven serial killer/rapist, etc., then I'd sure as hell give him the death penalty. But then again, killing that person just seems like you're giving them the easy way out. I'd rather let him rot in prison for the rest of his life than kill him.
1. What is the point of killing someone that would never see the light of day anyway? 2. What is the point of spending millions of taxpayer dollars to do so?

Just because something is expensive doesnt make it not right. The US is already in debt up to their eye balls so losing millions of dollars isnt going to do anything at this point. Also, if you had a heart, you would sempathize for the familes that get their children, wife, husband, father, mother, sister, and brother's murdered for no reason.
