I have been saying this for two years now: The chances that this is ramdom bad luck is low. However, even if it is "bad luck", it is a record of failure hanging over all participants heads. Athletes are in general superstitious, and giving them extra reasons to fear is bad business. I said it then, and will repeat: Clean house based on results. Don't even worry about trying to asses what the cause(s) or bad luck or anything. Bad results = fired. Very simple.
Why? That's how the economy, and everyplace I've worked, works. At every other NBA team, a coach is replaced after 2 years unless he's shown something special and is well above average. If you want a job for life, work for the government or the Portland Trailblazers.
