i never said that horry was an impactful roleplayer.....i said that his impact in LA and Houston another role player, it would have been the same team.when i disagreed with BCB, i never said anything about him not being average, i was just saying that an average player can be a good role player.Horry was put in good opportunites to make big shots...and he took advantage of those shots. like the "1" shot he made for LA, and the "1" game he had for San Antonio.

Salmons is a BELOW average player. You're just looking at stats, but take it from Sixers fans... the way he carries himself on the court and in the locker room is the absolute number one reason we want him out of a Sixers uniform. He's got average skills, but he thinks he is the next Jordan... thinks he's the best player ever... thinks he should control the outcome of the game instead of AI or Webber... thinks he doesn't need to follow the plays the coaches draw... thinks he can get all cute with the ball... etc. All that bumps him down to a below average player in my book. The kid just screwed himself. He's unrestricted now, and nobody is going to give him close to the money Toronto or PHX was going to give him.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>go back to that quote and you will see that was directed towards when he was playing with the lakers and houston. not his impact on the spurs series.</div> <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>when i disagreed with BCB, i never said anything about him not being average, i was just saying that an average player can be a good role player.</div> You disagreed with a statement that said he was a average player. And you said I don't get it when I said he was a average player. I still don't get it. Because no where did BCB say he wouldn't be a good role player. Just that he's a average player.

All I am saying, is that an average player can to do good things for teams. If he is put in the right atmosphere(which Toronto would have been), he would have been a guy to come of the bench and give them some offense....

Thank god the trade didnt go through, Salmons I think would be a nice additon to the Raptors but paying him almost 5 million a year for 5 years when MoPete and TJ Ford will be FAs next offseason. No thank you.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>(07-24) 17:36 PDT Sacramento, Calif. (AP) --Guard John Salmons signed a multiyear contract with the Sacramento Kings on Monday after four seasons with Philadelphia.Salmons averaged 7.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists for the 76ers last season, playing all 82 games. The 6-foot-7 swingman has been a steady contributor in Philadelphia, and the Kings could use him at three positions next season."We feel he's still an emerging player in the NBA," said Geoff Petrie, the Kings' president of basketball operations. "He'll add to the youth and overall skill level of our backcourt."The Kings also signed two rookie free agents who excelled on their summer league team: Guard Pooh Jeter and center Justin Williams.</div> Looks like he found a team. Where's Bonzi headed now?
