The Nets' 6-foot-10 big man out of Connecticut will need four to six months to rehab a torn left labrum that underwent surgery Tuesday, meaning he might not make his NBA debut until January, 2007."</div>sourceyeesh that sucks. especially cuz they need front court help NOW.

I saw that last night on T.V. Thats got to suck for the nets. He was going to get some valuable minutes considering their big men are awful...besides nenad

this should push back his development alot. Not very good at all to have surgery right off the bat.

This sucks. Their frontcourt will take a hit because of this. But I'm not crying over it :shifty2:

I don't know if it'll take a "big hit", as he wasn't on the team last year.

either CB4 edited his post or dogma just read it wrong. But this will definatley hurt them. Nenad is their only decent big man and he is thin and cant play defense. Josh Boone is a defensive minded big man who can fill up the stat sheets with blocked shots. This will definatley hurt New Jersey

He was supposed to be an impact player around this time but the knee surgery and an array of injuries have kept him down. All in all, still unfortunate. At least he's got a secure 3-year contract since he was a 1st-rounder (lucky)

i know it wasnt his fault but it might give the impression he's injury prone to the nets and he will get less playing time

It sucks I like Josh Boone he is the few college guys I actually seen play. But the Nets did have the what 3rd, or 4th best record in the Eastern Conference last season I am sure they can do the same again.Hope Boone is back as soon as he can.

This really sucks. I like Boone, and he is going to be a very solid player in this league for a long time. New Jersey needs him pretty bad as well. It'll be interesting to see if they end up re-signing Cliff Robinson. I think they should bust there balls to get a better big man other than Robinson, but if not, then they are screwed until Boone gets back into the swing of things.
