Cap space is good for more than signing the next Hedo (ducks). :) It can be used to facilitate trades and to sign our own players i.e. Nico.

How could they being listening to offers when it was reported a few days ago that other teams had no clue who to call over at the Blazer office? Good to know that they were assertive enough to just dial the number and ask. Whew!

Has anyone posted that Crawford for Sessions/Gibson rumor? I think that would be a good deal.

I don't expect a miracle but it would be a reasonable deal. I've been a moderately enthusiastic fan of Sessions for a few years now ... he's got warts and he isn't likely to ever make an all-star game but he's competent and would give us a player that is youngish and can play a little.

Rubio with a torn ACL. I guess they'll be hanging onto their guards, so no Rid, which is good, but they may challenge us for a good draft pick, which is bad.

    If true that really sucks.

    Rubio was legit.

Bummer, but maybe they want Felton? of if Rubio is playin only PG then Jamal does become valuable to then cause who do they have at SG?

Jamaal would become more valuable because they often played Rud at SG alongside Rubio. johnson is finally playing good so they might not want Jamaal

I think Felton and Crawford will do much better on their new team.

Hedo offered along with Orlando's 12 and 14 picks for Gerald Wallace?

I'd do that. The 12th and 14th picks in this draft could get you something good. How many more years is Hedo's contract for?

hmm, now trying to find where I saw it last night, maybe it just said 2 1sts, which is slightly different, if they were potentialy getting a 1st elsewhere.

Hedo is owed 11.8 next year, and guaranteed 6 million after that.

Oh, oops. That makes more sense. I'm not so sure about the trade then. I'm more of an instant gratification type of person.

Do that now. I think the Blazers want cap space this summer, but the picks would be worth it

Couldn't we offer G. Wall and Felton for Hedo, Nelson and 12 and 14's pick?

If G. Wallace didn't opt out of his contract; we would be on the hook for 11 mil. This would be a 4 mil hit on our cap space this summer. Maybe we can toss Nolan Smith and Babbit; so we get rid of 2 more mil in guaranteed contracts.

I like the pick idea too. We need as many as we can get so we can trade up to at least a top #10 pick.

Stay away from Greedo. His contract sucks some serious ass.
