    My thought is that the Willamette coach is basically telling his team that he knows that can't match up with Springfield. He actually insulted his own players, and I'm guessing he's going to regret it.

    I remember 1988 HS playoffs and we (Grant) were playing Beaverton or Sunset and it went into O.T. They held the ball the whole 5 minutes or whatever it was and missed a jumper with about 10 seconds left......... It was classic.... our center got the board and tossed it to Terrell Brandon who shot down the court and drilled a pull-up jumper at the horn. Crazy ass game! Smart tactic had it worked.

    I'm mostly opposed to a shot clock in hs or college unless it's at least 2 minutes.
