http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-wojnarowski_dwight_howard_magic_nets_trade_031312 Man I thought it sucked being a Blazer fan with our bad luck. They lose two of the most dominant centers in the game twice. I feel for the franchise.
Well if the Magic had been able to build a better team around him they wouldn't be in this situation. Ultimately it's their fault.
That same argument can be used with the Blazer organization. It's not the fan's fault that the team does a shit job building a winning franchise.
Yes, unfortunate, but Dwight Howard has played more games for the Magic than we got from Walton, Bowie, and Oden combined. Hell, WE got more games out of a half-crippled Sabonis than out of those three. I feel no sympathy for the Magic and their "bad luck".
My mistake. I re-read my OP and I saw it said I feel sorry for the franchise. I meant to say for the fans. I could see how it was misleading.
So true... I have a level of satisfaction that us fans still had a small taste of Sabas, even after injuries. Bowie and Oden is like eating bugs to survive.
Is it better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all? I feel like we never got to love Jordan or Oden...
There's left. Our four best centers all got maimed and either played at reduced capacity or had ridiculously short runs with us. I still feel worse for us. Edit: Sorry, didn't see all the similar responses.
