Hire Mike D'Antoni. Build the roster around his system. It didn't work in NY with ISO-heavy, ball-stopping players like Anthony and Amare. Step two (and an important one): Acquire a PG that can shoot. It's a start.
A PG that can shoot? Hmm....I'm thinking of someone who is old, white, slow, whose name starts with an S and ends with teve Blake. I'd like to hire D'Antoni though. After 10 years of boring Cheeks/McMillen basketball, let's at least have some entertainment! I have more ideas: Trade Gerald Wallace back to Charlotte for Dante Cunningham before he opts in next year Trade back whatever we gave to Toronto to get Jerryd Bayless back (at least he's shooting 40% from 3 this year, plays hard, and gets to the line) Trade Wesley Matthews for someone who doesn't suck
I have a feeling that management is going to stick with Nate McMillen until every last Blazer fan has turned in their badge.....
