@WojYahooNBA: New Jersey is calling everywhere on possible deals, but one player emerging on Nets radar, sources say: Portland's Jamal Crawford.

I can't imagine we could pry their lottery pick away? Maybe take on a crappy player to get it done?

Two names to watch for the Nets are Jamal Crawford and Gerald Wallace.

Not likely. Anything else it works for?

If you want to dream, how about Okur and Farmar? That would be a nice fit. And if you believe NJ can get Howard, that would give them an excellent lineup too (without need of Okur and Farmar).

I think everything depends on the moment it's reported that Howard opts-in. When that happens, then you will see a lot of activity.

With less than three hours until the trade deadline, two new suitors have emerged for Jamal Crawford. The Los Angeles Lakers and New Jersey Nets have expressed interest in Crawford, according to sources close to the situation. The two teams have contacted the Portland Trail Blazers and talks will continue up until the deadline.

I can understand them wanting both these guys; they want to beef up to keep Williams; and I like RR7' s idea of Farmar and Humphries and their 2012 pick back. Apparently humphries would have to agree to it and he would lose his bird rights so not sure if it can work. Since we wouldn't have his bird rights I would also ask NJ for their 2014 first round pick.
