Has he not been seeing the product on the floor for the past month and a half? The effort put out within that time-frame would have put me off more than the moves that were necessary. God I hate this washed up hack, probably more than Canzano. Plus we're forced to see that god damned squared off head on Talkin' Ball, which I refuse to watch- mainly because of him. Well, now that the team has made moves, he has to continue to find something to bitch about or people will stop paying attention. He's been saying all along they needed to make moves for the future. Then they do so, and he bitches. I think the NJ trade was awesome. It's not like our assets were THAT desirable. They all had warts one way or another. My only disappointment is that we didn't move JC for Beasley. Why not take a flier on him? He'll be a FA at year-end. He still has a lot of potential. Flynn, Batum, Beasley, LA.... that's a young team that can run.
I think Dwight was hoping to mine a little bit of angst here, but I'm guessing he's missed the mark entirely. Maybe I speak just for myself, but I'd be a lot more pissed if I knew I was paying to watch a Nate McMillan coached dumpster fire for yet another year. Getting rid of the malcontents and not having to sit through un-watchable basketball is worth the price of admission alone for me.
When you buy tickets and go to the games, you're supporting the team. You don't support the team, they move to some city where the fans will.
