Terrence Williams waived by the Rockets

    Wow. There's no denying that Williams has talent coming out of his ears, and it's not like he's got into JR Rider trouble off the court... so what happened? Is he just an irredeemable headcase?

    It's crazy to me how badly his teams have misused him this far into his career. For some reason, apparently these coaches thought that good court vision, passing abilities, handle, athleticism and size could somehow turn into a go-to scorer...

    Said this about OJ Mayo a few weeks back, I really think that Williams' TRUE position SHOULD be PG. He'd be a big one, mind you, and would likely have to guard 2s, meaning you'd have to have more of a Roddy Beaubois type "2" to guard the opposition's PG (Batum anyone?), but coming out of college, Williams had a LOT of potential as a distributor and a creator.

    It's very likely too late to turn him back into that type of player, but I'd be ecstatic to see us give him a shot at it, even if just for these last 20-some games.
