Of course that's a reflection of his inability to coach the pro game. Cheating in the NBA is not as easy to accomplish as it is in Kentucky.
That was not a slap in the face to Portland. He was bashing himself, IMO. He has said on countless occasions that he was not a good NBA head coach

No coach in his right mind could find a silver lining in coming to Portland while PA and Miller are still here. There are 29 better situations to consider.
