Did anybody else see this? If you have yet to, I suggest you go see it very soon. It was an awesome movie. It looks like strictly a comedy but it's actually a pretty sad movie with a great storyline. Melanie was crying her eyes out, My mom had tears, I didn't tear up but I came pretty close.
Dude, i saw this a couple of weeks ago and i was the same way...i got close to tearing up. It started off being another Adam Sandler movie and the plot totally changed. great movie

Anyways I saw it and it was a funny movie. I didn't find it that sad but I definetly see where your coming from. I also thought it would just be another Adam Sandler type comedy and I was suprised to see it had that familly comes first message to it.
I havent gone to the movies in like a month, just cause I dont wanna get a haircut right now...and my school starts in 2 weeks so I'll just wait for the day before and get a haircut then
Havent seen it, because I thought it'd be too cheesy. But by the way you guys are describing it, I might go see it now.

Sad...more like depressing. I felt EMO during the whole second half of that movie up until the resolution. The first half was pretty funny though.
grim reaper, not the devil^ that was a spoileri thought i already made a thread on this... guess that was somewhere else. I'd definitely say it was Sandler's best, and not just because Kate Beck was smokin hot, either

I just saw this Saturday. Good thing I forgot that Morty was the angel of death. It made the movie much better. I really liked it. Had some very funny parts and you were right, it was also very sad, the closest any movie has come to make me show sadness.
I saw this movie two or three weeks ago. It was better than what I thought it would be. I watched it with my gf..and all the way through she kept saying "I bet he wakes up"..and I kept saying "nah..nah..I think it will be different" then at the end...she just gloated while the credits rolled about it.
I want to see it. I like Adam Sandler. He's a good actor. Can someone tell me how this movie is sad, though? I don't care if you spoil it for me. I would just like to know...
