    That's awesome. Still have no idea why they waived him over Okur, who can't play.

    Maybe because he broke Williams? I don't really get it either. Seems like a good guy to have around.

    I think he could be a good role player for a team if he starts getting some decent PT.

    If he was claimed off waivers, doesn't that mean he retains his existing contract, the remainder to be paid by his new team? Maybe PA saved himself a few hundred Gs by waiving CJ instead of Okur.

    Just a guess, but wouldn't we have had to waive the guys already on the roster in order to make room for the extra guys coming back in the trades? I don't believe you can waive someone that's not yet on your roster, so I assume the trades couldn't get approved by the league office until we had made the necessary waives.

    Maybe? I could swear I remember hearing about trades being made and guys instantly waived

    I think this could be part of it. This was a perfect opportunity for E Will to get some serious burn. Instead, he's trying to recover from a dislocated shoulder.
