Sacto waives JJ Hickson . . . should we nab him?

I know he had the back spasms but does he have attitude issues or something? Why'd the Kings release someone who at multiple places was considered a key building block? As echoed by others, he's worth taking a flier on because he's not your average waived player. Heck, play him at PF and Aldridge at center.

 

I did a little light reading on the King's message board at RealGM and from what I could gather a lot of people were happy to see him go. Apparently he had become quite a distraction in the locker-room and wasn't exactly well liked by his teammates. I don't know how much of that has to do with the dysfunction that is the Kings in general or Hickson being a problem child, but it's probably a little of both.

I think He'd still be worth a look, the worst that can happen is that he's a problem here over the last twenty games and we lose some games because of it ... actually maybe that's the best thing that can happen?

 

I'd love to see us go after him. A better option off the bench than K.Thomas right now and at least Hickson has some future potential.

 

Hickson is a guy who could help us, so I say no.

 

GS Warriors are picking him up.

 

On first thought, I'd grab him in a heartbeat. On second thought, if he helps us win games this year, and then plays somewhere else next year, it's a lose-lose.
