Tonight I got to sit in Lanny's seat which was directly behind the Blazer bench. An amazing place to watch the game from.

    Random thoughts from the game:

I almost teared up when I saw Brandon come out and sit courtside with his wife and friend. Amazing moment. The place went nuts. It wasn't until that moment that I realized just how much I missed him.

Paul Allen did not clap at all for Roy until they showed him on the jumbotron. Very weird.

Paul Allen sat next to four empty seats all night. It was strange that PA didn't have Roy, his wife and friend sit next to him.

The woman sitting 4 seats down from Roy had the most amazing set of fake titties in a tight sweater that I have ever seen.

I'm going to first say that I will always be a huge Buck Williams fan. He brought so much heart and muscle to the Blazers. His playoff battles against Karl Malone were epic. But... did something happen to him? He talks, walks and moves like a boxer that has taken far too many shots to the head. Doesn't participate in timeouts, doesn't talk to players. Just sits there with this really vacant smile on his face. There were times I wasn't even sure he was watching the game. Maybe he's completely different at the practice facility but wow. He looked out of it. If that who is working with our big men now that Bayno is gone we are in trouble.

Batum's game has been Rubio'd! I think he's more concerned about getting out of the season unhurt and hopefully winning an Olympic medal with Team France then he is about finishing this season strong. I think it's not a coincidence that his game went south right after Rubio was lost for the season.

The Rhino sucks. Seriously, great nickname, bad player.

LaMarcus is an allstar! LaMarcus is an allstar! LaMarcus is an allstar! Now LaMarcus just wants the season to be over.

Felton can not run an offense. He's about as smart as an empty box of donuts.

Crawford realizes that he can cut his risk of injury in half by not playing defense.

    Babbitt sucks.

    Babbitt sucks.

    Babbitt sucks.

I've noticed the same thing about Buck many times also. The Blazers need to understand that a small market team needs to get the little things right. they need to realized they need a heavy em[emphasis on developing the players that are here. they need to spend a little to bring in the best skill development coaches.

It brought back memories of Scotty Pippen's wife.

Every month Paul Allen signs a check for a couple of million or so and makes it out to Brandon Roy. He probably figures the least Roy could do is to deliver him some popcorn and a hot dog and maybe pay for his own ticket.

So you say Buck Williams' brain is oxygen-deprived from the bow tie. Didn't Buck not travel on road games his first coaching year? Now this year he does, and look what happens to Gerald Wallace on the road. Also, Batum and Aldridge lost their drive.

This is why you don't get too many players in contract years on the same team.

I bet Nate would like to strangle that bow tie. Did Buck have any coaching experience before being gifted with an asst. coachship? For example, Hersey Hawkins sits next to him, but doesn't have that title. Like Canales, guys have to show desire and skill to work their way up. Did Buck just arrive with a silver spoon in his mouth?

Interesting take. It does look like the players are coasting; Nobody wants to get injured for a tanking season.....they're probably just morally defeated. Felton and Crawful do need to go. Damn I wish Elliot wasnt hurt...

I thought Lanny sat in section 210? I know I have seen him there.

I like the observations sly, I was wondering about some of those very things you mentioned ... not that you have the answers, but you provide a little bit of perspective.

Buck is not a bench coach, so why would he talk during the game?

Larry Greer said stuff to the players and other coaches. (I don't remember seeing Dan Dickau at the game) Even Jay Jensen and Bobby Medina said things to the players. If a non bench coach isn't suppose to talk to the players or other coaches why do they sit directly behind them?

I was hoping that HCP would jump in here and say, "No, he's a little worker bee at the practice facility. Always running around and helping our post players." I'm concerned about how involved of a coach he is but I'm also worried about Buck himself. I was trying to remember if Buck had any concussions during his career. I even asked the long time season ticket holder sitting next to me and he even said that Buck just sits there during the games.

    No pic.

She weighed maybe 120lbs and had 2 giant perfectly round beach balls riding high on her chest. Nature don't make 'em that way.

Since you were at the game I'm interested in how interested the crowd was throughout the second half. Were they loud other than for Roy? did they stay the whole game?

Half the crowd was gone halfway through the 4th quarter. Wasn't a lot to cheer about.
