That Denver-Washington trade was headcase for injury case. Just because McGee is tall and can swat shots doesn't mean he's a great defender. Remember Manute Bol?
That's fucking hilarious, but what makes it even funnier is that even though Duncan did not dress for the game, the same box score lists him as getting a technical. So, not only is he old, evidently he's grumpy, too. BNM
I think it was more about DEN regretting that huge contract they gave Nene this summer, and trading him away before anyone else could realize how big a mistake it was.
We have to find a SG who can stop on a dime and hit a jump shot easily. No set shot shooters at the 2.
He also had 3 BLK, 2 STL, 0 TO, 11-19 FG and 7-7 FT. That works out to EFF = 52 for the game. Too bad he's just a stat padder who doesn't help his team win. Oh wait... BNM
Yeah, no shit. In his last two games he put up EFF = 50 (tied previous career high) and EFF = 52 (new career high). He was able to lead his team, minus Pekovic, Rubio, Beasley and Darko to double overtime, on the road, against the best team in the West and then lead them to a convincing short-handed win over Denver. It really sucks that Minnesota has a brighter future than Portland. With Love, Rubio and Pekovic they have a very solid, young core. Who would have thought they'd have a brighter future with those three than Portland thought they'd have with Roy, Oden and Aldridge? BNM
Mike Brown is a fucking moron...I never paid attention to Cleveland fans when they bitched about him...but now I get it. He runs a YMCA offense...unbelievable...I wonder if he lasts through next season...
You never want to be the guy that follows The Guy. I get the feeling the Lakers hired him knowing that they'd probably have to replace somebody who inevitably fell short of Phil. Getting a bad coach like Mike Brown just makes it that much easier to get it done sooner rather than later.
And, will make the next guy look much better by comparison. He's the sacfificial lamb. The rebound guy. The guy nobody expects to last. The Bulls have gone through 8 coaches post Phil Jackson, and they finally seem to have found a good one (although Skiles wasn't that bad). BNM
Well get ready, you get Nate McMillan next season. Bank of it! And guess what?! He's actually gonna do well cause you have a iso ready superstar (Kobe). Just be ready for him to resort to bringing Blake back in the starting rotation.
