He's going to play a similar role in Toronto like he did in Indiana, he's a short guy but he plays bigger than he is. Very explosive athlete...I remember draft analysts questioning Indiana picking with 14th a few years ago.

(Amare, Yao, and Tayshaun). There were a couple of steals in the draft like Calros Boozer if i remember correctly. And Tayshaun went pretty deep in the first also but there are steals in every draft. The guy can play. He is undersized but that doesnt seem to matter much considering he has so much athletic ability. He is still a solid defender and he will fit in perfectly with Toronto IMO. He will get more minutes there than in Indy.

They will have to acquire him via a sign-and-trade, or if Indiana really wants him back they can just match the offer.

I'd be surprised if Indy didn't put up a fight. Fred Jones is a very underrated player. I think this would be MUCH better for the raps than getting Salmons. Damn.

Why can't these types of threads go in the team forums where they belong? There's always 2 threads of the same thing and the team forums aren't very active.

It belongs in the Raptors forum, and it was already posted there before this thread was started.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Sorry guys, for now on these are going in the team boards. :sign0106:</div> Why? Player movement should be discussed in General NBA, it's not like this section is booming with topics. Also, these topics will just disappear in team forums, because who here looks at every single team board?

Jones is a solid addition. He plays bigger then he really is. He is an exciting player that will help the young Raptors this year either in a starting role where he is more effective, or as a backup. I like what the Raptors have done this offseason, Colangelo is really putting a team together for the future.

My Euro-Raptors will impress alot of peolpe this year I think...then again I say this everytime we begin a new season. Anyways the Pistons are looking good too, I dunno why alot of people are always saying that the Pistons dynasty is over..Mohammed is one of my top 10 Centres, he will score for the Pistons which they didnt get from Wallace, alike Wallace he also can get monster boards, put him on the floor with prince, hamilton, billups and sheed and hes defnitley going to suceed.Back to Jones, hoepfully he can help the Raptors and not just ride the bench all season.
