Once Michael Del Zotto got the New York Rangers on the board with a short-handed goal, the Eastern Conference leaders took the Winnipeg Jets and their excitable fans out of the picture.

Del Zotto and Rangers captain Ryan Callahan each had a goal and an assist, and New York moved to the top of the NHL standings with a 4-2 victory over the fading Jets on Wednesday night.
