Two young black men in hoodies gunned down a convenience store full of other blacks in Bobby Rush's Chicago district one day after Rush was removed from the floor of the House for wearing a hoodie to honor Trayvon Martin. Seems pretty ironic and worth mentioning. Obvious as well, considering Rush in his hoodie has been discussed quite a bit in this thread. Not exactly the best timing for the " hoodie" movement.
The congressman was well publicized for doing that act to make a point about racial profiling/hoodies. Then the next day, some pretty heinous murders, committed in hoodies occurred in his district. Just ironic.
People have a right to be suspicious about what happened here. George Zimmerman persued him with a gun. But it's certainly plausible that Treyvon attacked him as George said. If I had a loaded gun, the last thing I'd want to do is wrestle around with someone. But why didn't George pull out his gun as Treyvon was coming at him. To me, it sounds like they scuffled, George got Treyvon off and shot him out of anger. This situation probably could have been avoided with better communication skills. This is a good example of why you really want to try to not esculate situations.

IF he saw TM coming, and didn't pull his gun, it indicates to me that he didn't want to shoot him. You don't pull your concealed weapon until you are prepared to use it. If you pull it, and aren't ready to use it, the other guy could take it and shoot you. IF they scuffled, seems a lot more likely, imo, that he pulled his gun out of fear, when he started to realize that this guy was kicking his ass, and could take his gun and shoot him. That said, I don't know enough about this to know IF he saw him coming, or IF they scuffled. Go Blazers

I read on the drudge report that the Hispanic boy did drugs and was recently suspended from school for spitting on his teacher. It's a good thing the attack was caught on video though, otherwise the black teens could just claim self defense.

You obviously thought the attack was funny since you added you little emoticon there. I don't think the attack was funny at all, I was just exposing your bias. You seemed fine with justifying the killing of Treyvon Martin since you brought up the alleged attack of the bus driver. You also didn't mind when El P posted about Martin being suspended for drugs or fake pictures of Martin giving the finger. I didn't really read that on DR, BTW.
Good thing the Latino kid didn't have a gun. If he shot one of the black kids, it wouldn't be self defense, it would be murder.....at least according to Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the Panthers. Best to just take whatever amount of a beating the gang of kids think is appropriate.
