Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects I'm warming up to Kendell Marshall as our target with our pick:
Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects Marshall makes his teammates so much better. He's going to be great on a fast break team.
Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects Is it possible that Marshall is simply a great college PG who isn't athletic enough to be truly successful in the pros, but we are just so point-guard starved here that we are elevating him far above his actual ability?
Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects News that this BJ Young kid is possibly declaring for the draft is huge. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/B.J.-Young-6243/
Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects Perhaps for some teams, but not for us. Isn't he yet another in a long line of combo guards? Sounds like DX basically has him pegged as another Bayless.
Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects They also mention that his scoring is a result of necessity more than anything else. Not that he can't play PG.
Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects I bet a lot of people said that about Andre Miller to... Hell, they still kind of do. I really like Marshall and would be thrilled if he was available for our lower of two picks!
Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects I'm so impressed with Davis. He's seemingly involved in every play. I would deal Aldridge for Davis in a split second.
Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects Conversely, Terrence Jones has disappeared, and Peyton Siva is completely terrible.
Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects What's funny is that LMA averaged 15/9/2 blocks his 2nd year at Texas, and Davis averaged 15/10/3 blocks this year at Kentucky. I remember wanting LMA more than any other player in that draft, and I feel the same way about Davis. Let's hope the ping pong balls are friendly again and the Blazers can have both of them!
Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects Yeah, not sure what I was looking at. Also only 14 ppg, not 15. Well, you catch my drift. I'd rather have both of them that just one of them. Davis is a defensive freak who needs to work on his offensive game, and LMA can play outside-inside to Davis' inside-out, which was always my dream for Oden and LMA.
