Quite literally broke his ankles... It really wasn't even a good move, I think Anderson just caught a bad break.

I thought Stan Van Gundy was a superduper coach who wouldn't switch on the pick and roll at such a late stage of a game?

    Keep Coach K!

(I almost started a Keep Koach K campaign, but I figured I'd get some dirty looks from people if all they saw were the big K's on my sign)

I'v never been super impressed with small mobile guards who break the ankles of PF/C's. Of course the big man can't stay with the guard, its more impressive when its guard on guard.

Bad news. The Wolves lost again, meaning they're still behind the Blazers in the standings.

Super Coach Rick Adelman's 3rd straight year out of the playoffs.

Now Ridnour out, along with Rubio, Barea, Beasley, Darko and they just got Peckovic back. Injuries are a bitch.

Yep ... some coaches learn to deal with them, though.

I'm not sure why you find that so fascinating. He took over a 17 win team that has been hit very hard by injuries.

Nate took over a 27 win team and missed the playoffs three years in a row. But, he get's a free pass because he's your crusade of the month.

BTW, in spite of taking over some truly horrible teams (GSW, 26 wins; SAC, 27 wins; MIN 17 wins), Adelman has a .600 career winning percentage. He's also taken his teams past the first round 8 times. What's McMillan's career winning percentage? How many times has he taken a team past the first round?

But, if it makes you feel better about losing Nate, feel free to keep bashing Adelman, Van Gundy and Thibodeau, and every other coach who has accomplished a hell of a lot more.

I'm trying to decide who the award for gimmick poster of the year should go to.

He missed the playoffs 2 straight years in Houston. They fire him, replace him with McHale, and now they're a playoff team.

And the Blazers fired Nate, traded two of their starters and have the same won:loss percentage with Skippy the video guy as head coach.

Where did I mention Nate recently in this thread? Seems like you and MickZagger brought him up recently in this thread. I haven't commented on him. I'm commenting on what a shitty coach Rick Adelman is right now. I mean, just terrible. The game has passed him by.

You do know that if the Rockets lose their next game their winning % will be .527. Last year it was .524.

The Wolves, injuries and all, are at .455, compared to .207 last year. Sure looks like the NBA has passed him by.
