Who is this years national champs?Florida could repeat, they didn't lose anyone major to the NBA, and still have Joakim Noahtheir leader. LSU has Big Baby Glen Davis still also. I think it is pretty wide open with UConn and Duke both losing their best players to the NBA.

Florida and LSU seem like the biggest threats right now to me.

There's a ton of teams that could win it this year that are just as big of threats as Florida or LSU. These are just the ones off the top of my headNorth CarolinaKansasGeorgetownArizonaOhio StateWisconsineven Duke still has a pretty good team. There's a lot of talent this season.

They have a great frontcourt of talent in Roy Hibbert and Jeff Green. They also got a lot of good recruits. They have a solid team. Not too mention they have a great coach in John Thompson III. As for Wisconsin they have three very good players returning including Alando Tucker. Also they have incoming guard Jason Bohannon who gives them depth at guard which they really need.

Definatly the Florida Gators. They have everything, defense, shooting and championship experience, and they have their core back in a league which has no real contenders. Lee Humphrey, Joakim Noah, Corey Brewer and Al Horford will all be much improved. I don't see how you can not pick Florida.

It will be either UNC or Florida. Both have great talent that got more experience over the offseason. They have great coaching and UNC got some amazing recruits like always.

Agreed...I think Boston College (yes im biased) will have another good run...they have the best shot blocker in college Sean Williams and some great up and coming to-be sophmores & to add to that they still have Jared Dudley who is coming up on his senior year..and dont they still have Marshall who can go on hot streaks at times?and YEAHBC Selected As Host For 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Regional :-Dbut besides the point..I think George Mason will have another good year...Texas will be on point toobut LSU and Florida are still definitly huge threats

I can't see Kansas doing good in the tourney. Ever since Self has came they have done bad in the tourney. I know that is only like 2 years, but still. In '05 they had a great team with Simeon, Gidden, Miles as the leader at point and some other role players. They couldn'y make it to the Elite Eight with that good of a team.

Well this is really early, but i'll put a few teams that i think can win it all next year.DukeUNCFloridaKansasTexasI think they've all been listed, but those are the 5 that i think have a really good chance. I dont think LSU or Boston College will be as good as some ppl think.

They lost LaMarcus Aldridge, PJ Tucker, Daniel Gibson, Brad Buckman, and Kenton Paulino. I mean they got Kevin Dhurat but that's not enough to make them contenders. I can see them making the tourny but not doing much in it.

My final four is:1. Ohio State (their only chance since oden will enter draft year after)2. UNC TARHEELS (best recruiting freshman class, lost 2 key seniors though, but they still have hansbrough, and green) 3. Kansas (won conference tourney and 15 of last 17 games. Kept all their key players last year-sophmores and juniors and are all a year older and better) 4. Florida (all five starters are back)Finals - UNC vs. Ohio St. That would be sweet.

I am biased, but it's still true. Texas lost all their experienced players, and A&M nearly beat them in the Big 12 Tourney. I think a team that came close to taking 2 of 3 can do better next year, since they only lost Chris Walker. Oh, and we came close to beating LSU. I don't think we'll win the tourney either, but we'll do better than Texas.

No, ididn't put them in a ranking. Just listed them as 1-4. If i ranked them, florida and UNC (biased) would be # 1, and ohio state and kansas would both be # 2.
