Bulls are up 32-26 as I type this. Rose started, but he honestly looked not ready. Bulls fell behind by a lot early, then climbed back to take the lead once Rose went to the bench. Miami sat both LeBron and Wade, which killed their offense and helped the Bulls' comeback. This is one of Boozer's best games against the Heat. He's leading all scorers with 9 pts and he has7 rebounds in 11 minutes. Korver is having another good night. Boozer just hit 2 shots and grabbed another rebound. He started 0-3 and has made 6 of his last 8. 36-29 now.
Rose leave with the Bulls down 10. Regardless of how rusty Rose looks, we're probably better off playing him so he gets into shape ASAP.
Rose goes out, Bulls cut the deficit to 2 in short order. Thibs is playing Rose and still keeping us in position to win this one.
I'm going to go way out on a limb and say that this is the first time the Bulls have ever won a game with Rose posting a -27.
Somehow my 4 yr old son has morphed into a Miami fan which has all kinds of negative consequences. I have had to turn down my extreme dislike of Lebron in front of him for one. And not fun to have him wake up, check his itouch for the scores and be weepy all morning about his favorite team getting beat last night.
At four years old? How did he get trapped? Are you a displaced Chicagoan? And Transplant -- It looked like a game from another planet when I saw the box score.
Kids are natural born frontrunners. When my son was little and the f'in Packers won the Super Bowl, he decided he was a Packers' fan. Had GB pajamas for Chrissakes. It was all I could do to give him a good night hug. Sounds like you're handling it as well as can be expected. My son Tim outgrew his aberrant behavior and I suspect yours will too. The process will work faster if the Bulls can win the title this year. Go Bulls!
