Since when did 6'3" SGs become Top 5 NBA draft picks? Beal isn't even going to measure 6'5" in shoes. I saw that as someone who likes him as a player, but his size concerns me, given he's projected as a SG and doesn't really have PG skills. DraftExpress has him at 6'3.5" in shoes. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Bradley-Beal-5759/
I refer you to the 3rd pick of the 2004 draft, Mr. Ben Gordon. Which is more of an argument against Beal, IMO, than in his favor.
my sources say that beals stock will fall during workouts and he will go #9 to utah, then be traded to phoenix in a sign and trade for steve nash
Yeah, it goes back a while. Looking back at that draft, other than Howard at #1, Devin Harris at #5 was a better pick than the 3 guys taken ahead of him. Just an odd draft overall. Lots of good players drafted 7th and lower that year. Iguadola Deng Al Jefferson Humphries JR. Smith Josh Smith Jameer Nelson Kevin Martin Varejao Duhon Ariza
Great that another "hot" player declares for the draft. Now just waiting on Davis and Drummond to push the guys down to us at #7-8 and #11-12.
Beal plays real good defense to go along with his scoring ability. Lamb does not. Beal is super strong. Lamb is frail.
I agree, mostly. I'm not sure Lamb is frail though? Beal doesn't possess that elite level athleticism that I think he will need on this level.
