To say Ben Wallace makes you sick becuz he left is just funny becuz it wont be the only time a player is gonna leave detriot for more money, its gonna happen. i dotn understand why piston fans are soo bitter about it. usually when a guy whos done a lot for a team leaves they generally wish him good luck. Im not saying the bulls are better than the pistons with ben alone, but its not like hes the only guy we've addedthis offseason alone we've addedBen WallaceTyrus ThomasThabo SefoloshaPJ BrownViktor khryapaso its possible that we may be the better team.and i can care less if i seem uninteligent, we are talking about freaking basketball</div>It makes me sick because he acted like we disgusted him with the offer we gave him, and it wasn't that far off from the one he got from the Bulls. The way he acted when we made the offer is why I am bitter, not just because he decided to leave.
Re: Ben Wallace's Official Press Conference he didnt want to play with flip. thats the main reason.Just wish him the best if your a true piston fan. Chandler got traded i hope things go well.....Curry acted like a lil girl with us but i hope he does good also.. its all about the money in the end
Re: Ben Wallace's Official Press Conference O.k.: First off Ben hated Flip, and I'd LOVE to see Flip err 'flip' to a team with no superstars and see how he fares, because Detroit got burned in the post season by his coaching skills.Second of all, I think Ben loved Chicago's griitty D, and he says as much. Flip put the scorers in s higher light, and that was not how Detroit got a a banner in the rafters.Third, yes, if Kirk left for a big bag with a $ sign on its side, I would be crying too.Fourth, lets ettle this on hardwood come fall...........
Re: Ben Wallace's Official Press Conference I think Ben did leave the Pistons for money. And 2nd, there is no way last year, the Bulls were better then the Heat or Pistons.

Bothe Wayde and Shaq were so hungry they could run an alll you can eat buffet out of business.. :dribble:
Re: Ben Wallace's Official Press Conference I definately understand why Detroit would be mad though. Offering the most money they ever have for a Piston. But hey, i'll take ben in chicago.
Re: Ben Wallace's Official Press Conference Yeah kinda does make it seem money motivated and the old saying its a business always rears its ugly head, but I think Ben's enough of a real basketball player to have other motives as well and to not go to a team that he does not think will soon contend within a couple years. The money factor in all sportd sucks, but waht can you do? I've always liked J Dumars since he was playing, and he too is a great competiter, and I can see why he would be angry.
Re: Ben Wallace's Official Press Conference Money couldve been the reason why Ben left but it wasnt. You(tomspy) said it earlier. Ben was having problems with the coach and I dont think he liked what was going on during the playoffs...so why not go to a younger and talented almost a piston like team..with a coach that thinks just the way he does?..and more money?

He might have left for money, but you would too.
