Re: '07 Sixth Man of the Year Who will it be?For two years Antonio McDyess has been in contention, playing behind the two Wallaces. With Ben gone I see him getting more minutes, more points, and a Sixth Man of the Year award.Who is your pick?
Re: '07 Sixth Man of the Year Speedy Claxton has a good chance if he doesnt start. He came close last year. And this year his team isnt dominated by guards.
Re: '07 Sixth Man of the Year But Speedy will start though. Not a whole lot of point guards in Atlanta.Antonio McDyess is a good choice, James Posey/Antoine Walker and Jerry Stackhouse are in it too. And perhaps Al Harrington, if he plays behind Granger and Jermaine O'neal.
Re: '07 Sixth Man of the Year If Diaw comes of the bench, which he might, he will still get a lot of minutes and I see him getting the Sixth Man Award easily.
Re: '07 Sixth Man of the Year How about Antonio Daniels? He really gave us a spark off the bench in the 2nd half of the season. If he keeps up his play, I really think he'd be a top 3 candidate for 6th man of the year.
Re: '07 Sixth Man of the Year Another guy that should be mentioned IMO is Michael Finley. With consistent playing time in the playoffs, he really shined for the Spurs. He played good D and was our most consistent shooter. If I had to pick anybody though, I would most likley go wtih Boris or the 6th man on Chicago. Whoever that may be.
Re: '07 Sixth Man of the Year I think Diaw has the edge but i would like james Posey to get it. If the Heat play like they played in the playoffs and Posey maintains that level of play he can get it as well

And 2nd of all, they have 3 quality point guards so they are going to have to split minutes between the three. And honestly, I dont see one doing THAT much better than the other.
Re: '07 Sixth Man of the Year I'll throw in Vladmir Radmonovic to make things different and interesting.

At least that's what I heard they promised him. Say Kwame or whoever the odd man out in LA is.
Re: '07 Sixth Man of the Year I think you have to throw in Freddy Jones if Anthony Parker starts ahead of him..
Re: '07 Sixth Man of the Year if Carney plays behind Korver....RODNEY FOR SIXTH MAN OF THE YEAR AND ROY

He will play some PG, he will play some more SG than he did last year. Regardless, Delonte is going to get his minutes, so I see him up there as at least a candidate.
