<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Kevin Love Leaning Towards UCLA?25th July, 2006 - 10:35 amESPN - Kevin Love, rated number two in the high school class of 2007 behind O.J. Mayo, appears to be heading to the Los Angeles area. The consensus is that Love will announce on Tuesday that he will attend UCLA instead of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mayo has yet to make a formal annoucement of where he will play, but has reportedly told the staff at USC that he will be attending school there. Stan Love, Kevin's father, a former Oregon and NBA player, said only Monday night that "he's 17, so how do you know what they're going to do.'' Love could be one of many players from the 2007 class that spends just one year in college, along with Mayo, Bill Walker, Derrick Rose, Eric Gordon and Michael Beasley</div>http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/416...g_towards_ucla/Great News especially after loosing Farmar we need another impact player on the team. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Kevin Love Will Attend UCLA25th July, 2006 - 5:55 pmESPN.com - Kevin Love, arguably one of the top two players in the class of 2007 with guard O.J. Mayo of North College Hill (Ohio) High, could go against his summer-league rival at least twice in 2007-08 if Mayo follows through with his private proclamation to the USC staff that he would sign with the Trojans. The big Oregonian center decided that he would attend UCLA today. "It would be crazy if we were both there [in L.A.]," Love said. "We have a good friendship and it would be a lot of fun. It'd be huge for the USC-UCLA rivalry." Apparently, UCLA coach Ben Howland was so ecstatic that, according to Love, the UCLA coach was near tears. Howland was recently met with a long-term contract extension from the legendary college program</div>It looks like it is true. :yahoo:
