They should win this one handily, right? Wow. Our records are mirror images of one another. Andray Blatche out because of "conditioning"? Yikes.
It must be hard to stay mentally tough when your cast keeps changing. When do they start thinking that they've been cursed? Well, if you're going to lose, you might as well lose to the worst.
Either you need to start predicting losses, or I need to go bet in Vegas on whichever side you don't pick to win. ;-)
Gee, do you think my picks carry the statistical weight required? Was certainly not anticipating Rose and Deng being out for this one. Still should have won, but our Chemistry has been shaky for a while, and this was not helpful. I think people are taking days off, biding their time for the playoffs. Can't say I blame them. But I'm sure Thibs does.
A little conspiracy theory... The Bulls sure seem to have taken their game down a notch the past month or so. Speculation: 1. They're tired. Doubtful, IMO. 2. Thibs' act has worn thin. Again, doubtful. 3. The injuries suffered by key players (3/5 the starting lineup!) make playoff chances slim; players don't want to play so hard for a 2nd round exit. 4. It leaked in the press that management didn't like the team's chances with the current roster. 5. No deal made at trade deadline. 6. No new deal for Thibs. If the players love him (I suspect they do), then they go on strike (play to win, barely). Or maybe Thibs' heart isn't in it so much anymore. Or both.
The optimist: This is the part of the season when veteran teams who have qualified for the playoffs lose more games than they should. The Thunder and Heat have played crap ball this month, and now the Bulls. The pessimist: Christ, Derrick Rose needs to get healthy.
