I never heard this rumor until I read this tweet from Awoj.

I always thought he'd be a coaching candidate but not for GM. Interesting to hear about it.

    Anyone hear about this?

I wonder why Portland would not even be interested?

Brown's a great coach. But, I have no clue about his talent evaluation skills.

The first thoughts that come to mind:

No front office experience (that I'm aware of)
    Track record of commitment phobia

I can't see that working. He never lasted very long because he never got along with players or management for very long. He does things his way. Maybe his way is the right way, maybe he could hand pick someone to coach the way he demands. But with his EGO..........I can't see it working. He would fire someone and take over. It will all be short term. But what the hell.......

Glad we're not interested. I remember Stein reporting LB would request the Philly/NY/Charlotte GM every other week to trade half the roster or something like that.

Good! I dont want Larry Brown. The guy sticks with teams as long as an unpaid hooker.

Seems like he'd be a perfect fit for our GM position then

He's a high maintenance whiner. Every day, the sympathetic media reports on how much he's suffering because of players and management who won't cooperate with his wishes. It's all about him.
