    Fuck him.

We're not stupid. It was blatant.

Agreed. Artest needs a lengthy suspension. Thru the playoffs is fully justified.

His clothesline of Barea was a spastic attack.

His pounding the shoulder of Gerald Wallace was because his armpit got tickled.

What a joke. Since he's a Laker, though, I don't expect much in terms of a suspension, even with his history.

In the age of concussions, cheap shots to the head simply cannot be tolerated in any sport. I think Artest can't help himself, actually. He's just wired to have outbursts like that once or twice a year, and his anger manifests itself physically. It's chemical, but that still doesn't mean it's not cheap and worthy of heavy penalties.

It was bush league of the Lakers not to show a replay of that vicious cheap shot. Their idiotic fans high-fiving Artest as he left the game was a disgrace to the NBA.

You expected different? The Staples Center crowd is little different than the audience at the Roman Coliseum during the gladiator fights.

It's only a matter before someone is truly hurt by this knucklehead. As hard as Artest tries to rebuild his character, there is no doubt that he has some screws loose. That you can't fix.

The league has tried to clean up acts like this for a few years, but as long as they refuse to throw the book at players who purposely do things that can end someones career it wont change. They need to take a hard stance on this and every foul like this and Bynums on J.J from last year with Lengthy (Month or so) suspensions followed by a probation period were if they do something like that in the next few months they get a longer suspension and can be evicted from the league.

At first glance it really does look like he's not paying attention and accidentally hits the guy. He wasn't facing him, it was in the heat of the moment, and at regular speed it looks like an accident. But when you slow it down, there's just no way that he "accidentally" winds up his elbow like that and clocks Harden in the side of the head. For him to be able to pull that off in the heat of the moment is pretty startling. Makes you wonder how quickly he decided to do it, or if he had decided in advance that he was going to throw a cheap shot at some point in the game.

I've always thought Artest was nuttier than a snickers bar.

I hope he gets suspended for the entire playoffs! That was one of the worst cheap shots I've seen in the NBA.

He calls this a celebration? All I can say is I have a real different idea of what constitutes celebration than "World Peace".

Maybe he means "World in Pieces".

I refuse to call him by that name. His name is Ron Artest... or Ron Ron. Similarly, I refused to call Chad Johnson by that ridiculous name he went by.

I hope Harden files suit against him. Make a media circus case out of it!

Maybe Harden needs to trade in that beard for a skirt. I'm glad someone finally put that trash talker in his place.

I don't advocate plays like that, but when someone constantly runs their mouth, you can expect something like that to happen.

Sadly, there is a slight over-reaction because Artest has a history and he's wearing a L*ker jersey.

As far as I'm concerned, I think the switch has been made in my head, I dislike the Thunder more than the L*kers. So it is what it is. I lol'd at the fake toughness of Ibaka, and Ron grabbing his package.

Harden went down like Apollo in Rocky IV.

    "If he dies... He dies."

I couldn't care less what jersey he had on. That was a bullshit play. L*ker everything, Magic Johnson said last night on tv that he was embarrassed to be associated with the L*kers after that play.

The Fakers knew fair and well what they were getting into when they acquired Ron Ron , it was only a matter of time.

Can they be? Doesn't the union protect against that?
