In addition to his work on Baseball Tonight, the former Gold Glove-winning second baseman also covered the College World Series and the Little League World Series for the network.ESPN already was dealing with the loss of another baseball analyst, Peter Gammons, who has been off the air since he was stricken with a brain aneurysm on June 27.</div> [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

That's ridiculous, he's one of the more funny and interesting analysts they have (well, had)!

Reynolds was an interesting character on the crew. It is a shame that ESPN let him go, with both him and Gammons gone they need a replacement ASAP.

Not a big baseball fan, but I enjoyed watching him too. I wonder why they let him go.

Damn, Harold Reynolds is bad ass. This sucks cause now on baseball tonight were going to have to listen to Jeff Brantley and the know it all Tim Kurkjian. Oh yeah and how can I forget Tino Martinez, the worst baseball analyst ever.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>On July 25, 2006, New York Post writer Andrew Marchand reported that Reynolds has been fired from ESPN. No rationale nor response from ESPN to the firing has been given, only confirmation that Reynolds "is no longer with the network." Rumors have abounded that Reynolds was fired for sexual harrassment complaints filed by several co-workers, but ESPN insiders have said that Reynolds got into several heated arguements with Baseball Tonight producers about their coverage of New York Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez.</div>I bet it's because he lost too many celebrity all-star games...He will probably be on Best Damn Sports Show in no time, he'd fit in perfectly there.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>NEW YORK (AP) - Harold Reynolds was fired by ESPN from his job as a baseball analyst after he was accused of sexual harassment, the New York Post reported Wednesday. The former Gold Glove-winning second baseman, a member of the "Baseball Tonight" team for 11 years, said he didn't do anything to warrant his dismissal and wants his job back."It was a total misunderstanding," Reynolds told the Post. "My goal is to sit down and get back. To be honest with you, I gave a woman a hug and I felt like it was misinterpreted."The newspaper, quoting sources, reported that the woman is an ESPN employee.</div> http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/5815012?FSO1&ATT=HMA :dunno:

I was listening to Tony Bruno this morning who worked at ESPN for 8 years, he says ESPN wouldn't have fired Reynolds over a 1 time allegation...he said it's probably been an issue multiple times.
