    Lets talk.

1 and 2 spots are figured out. After that it gets a little interesting. I think Blackmon will be a star receiver. Its a quarterback heavy draft. I hear Miami might surprise people and take the Tannehill kid at 6.

I've also heard on the radio last night Chris Landry say that he wouldn't be surprised if LaMichael James went early in the 2nd. Teams are falling in love with the small, slotbacks in todays NFL.

Is Miami trading up to 6?

Thats right, St. Louis has 6 via Washington. Brain fart, meant 8.

I can see the Rams drafting Blackmon if he's still available. Vikings will either take Khalil, or Claiborne. Browns will take Richardson. Tampa goes with Claiborne.

I see. Sorry, wasn't trying to be a dick, just didn't know if you were seeing them somewhere trading up.

I imagine Cleveland takes Richardson. As Browns fan, I am torn. I like him, think he will be a stud, but I also really like Blackmon, and think a combo of him and Little will be nice. ALSO, like Claiborne, and think a combo of him and Haden will be really good. I'd almost prefer St. Louis get desperate for one, and trade up the two spots, but it won't happen. But I know we'll at least get one of the 3 I like. If we take Tannenhill inexplicably......ugh.

Rumor swirling that the Jets are going to try and trade up for the Browns pick to take T-Rich. He'd be a great fit for either team.

RR7, I think the Browns should take Brandon Weeden if he's available at 22. Short term-ish instant impact investment. Of course I'd only do this if they land T-Rich at 4. Adding those two guys would make the Browns interesting.

I would imagine the Jets would have to get to 3, Minnesota pick, to get him. I would hope Cleveland would not trade back that far.

As for Weeden, I have come around on him after initlaly hating the idea of a 28 year old rookie. But not at 22. Sure, there is always the chance a team trades ahead of you, but there isn't a need for a QB from any team drafting between them at 22 and 37. Maybe I trade with NE at 31, just in case. Move 37 and a 3rd or 4th for 31 and nab him. I have soured on Colt, but at the same time realize that is unfair, to surround him with limited offensive talent, and expect him to look good.

Cleveland trades up from 4 to 3, almost assuredly for richardson.

I nailed it. And I love it. Cleveland is relevant for the first time in a long time. Weeden is your starting QB - this year. Add T-Rich to the fold? The Browns are a COMPLETELY different team. Serious impact picks.

    I don't like their defense.

Hate the pick at 22. I am fine with him coming in and starting, but why at 22 instead of 37? I can't think of one other team who would take him in front of them at 37, either drafting there or trading for him. Most other teams already have either an established QB, or younger guy they are going with. Would have much preferred getting someone like Reif to lock down RT, and go Weeden in 2.

You don't know that. Cousin's going to Washington was a shock. Every one was busting on Seattle for taking Irvin at 15, yet since the draft information has come out that the Jets were going to take Irvin with the very next pick. The Packers, 9ers, Jets, Bears and Seahawks all had Irvin on their board in the 1st. Weeden could have definitely come off the board before Cleveland's next pick. He's a plug-n-play QB, or an EXCELLENT plug-n-play backup. He has a ton of value for any team, really. I still love the move by the Browns. You'll be happy Colt is no longer your future. Trust me.

I just can't see who else grabs him. Who else is he a legit fit for? I don't see it. Still don't like it.
