What did a Limp Bizkit mosh look like? A bunch of dudes in red hats and face paint wanting to "Break Something"?

You obviously never listened to PJ either, yet you're pretending to be an expert on them.

Jeremy isn't exactly a slow song, either. Were you thinking of "Black", "Evenflow", or "Alive"? Although "Alive" gets pretty heavy at the end.

    Jeremy circa 1992

Hey, I'm biased to that period of music. I've seen PJ 15 times in concert, including the first time in a barn at the Bozeman, MT fairgrounds in 1991 before they hit it big the next year.

I just find it funny that people were moshing in the late '90s when it was my generation that brought it back from the punk days. I mean, if you're going to mock me being a DJ in my mid-20s, I can certainly mock moshing to the crap bands of the late '90s.

Nirvana/AIC/PJ/Soundgarden/STP/Tool/Primus etc. etc. I'll put that up against any "mosh" music from the late '90s.

Why is it funny people were moshing in the late 90s? Just as funny you were moshing in the early 90s? Does your generation want a cookie for "bringing it back"? Did it have to come back and then die with your generation? You can certainly mock people moshing to limp bizkit. Seems like it's misdirected at people who didn't, though. I think it's all rather dumb, PJ or limp bizkit, but that's just me.
I'm sure the dudes who moshed to the hardcore punk music in the 80s mocked you for doing it to grunge bands.

I always liked it when the dudes were so into grunge, and had their designer flannels and pre-ripped jeans.

You think it's so dumb that you just wrote an anger-infused rant. Weren't you the one mocking "moshing" to Pearl Jam? Or am I not allowed to be a smart ass back at you? Hell, at least some people here get it, but you seem to get very upset when the blast is turned around at you.

You made a foolish statement about Pearl Jam. I made a few posts about it. I also think Limp Bizkit is pure shit, and expressed it.

Plus, hardcore punk was in the '70s, not '80s. Maybe I should start a music history thread?

I always like it when people that obviously have not clue fucking one about what they're talking about still try to join in the latest pile-on. Designer flannels? Maybe in the late-90s. You must have hung out with a rich crowd or something.

there was no anger in my post. none at all. I find it amusing how each generation mocks the following for things. You brought back something that was already around, but became "popular" again because some of the music associated with it was popular. Cool.
My foolish statement about Pearl Jam? Where? When I asked what dudes moshing to jeremy looks like? Somehow it makes me uninformed about them? No. I wasn't trying to express knowledge about the band in the slightest.

There was hardcore punk in the 80s as well. Or did it all just immediately die? Nobody anywhere listened to and moshed to any punk music in the 80s. got it.
