Sure, we all have a constitutional right to act like a jackass. Doesn't mean all of us do.

His neighbors asked him. Apparently you know him better than they did, though.

My bible? Dude, calm down. You're the person playing fast and loose with assumptions.

Well... Come on. When you're that hardcore and badass, why would you not use your own name?

You can't hide from the past. You can spin it, but regulars know what went down.

Zimmerman was commended by neighbors and friends. Did they know he was arrested by police for resisting arrest? Ever have a family memeber or friend who can be really nice and social then learn theya re a diffeerent person at home or in stressful situations?

There are some good parts about Zimmerman and Martin and some bad parts about each. Committing a violent crime and having anger issues are bad things about Zimmerman. I know you don't want to beleive he had those things because people say good things about him, but again, you aren't being real nuetral about this, to say the least.

So what happened to BD again? I guess I'm not up-to-date on the forum drama.

Really, what went down? I'd like to hear it.

Martin was suspended from school for having a backpack full of women's jewelry just the week before. Does that mean that he's a criminal?

I'm not being neutral? Oh, you're hilarious today.

Is this before or after he was calling my house and threatening my family, and you and Denny thought it was hilarious when I was sharing the PMs with you? :)

Your response was an AirSoft gun. Mature times for all of us. lol

Well, actually you never told me he was calling your house. There was the big blowup on the boards where he made a bunch of threats, but you never told me that he called you.

I don't know him better that his neighbors, but if I did a 50.00 background check on him I would have been in a better postion to decide if should be a manager of a neighborhood watch.

Why can't you admit that Zimmerman has issues, these are facts not assumptions. I conceed that Martin has issues and probably is anti-authority. I keep saying this was a bad sitatuion from the word go. Power hungry Zimmerman with his anger issues confronting a kid he thinks is up to no good and the young Martin not about to accept being accused and shaken down when he hasn't don anything wrong. That was not a good situatuion and why police should have handled it.

Thought I did. My bad. It was Denny, then, but he basically said I deserved it.

Your AirSoft thing was the last straw, but looking back I can see how it was funny. I was actually a bit freaked out about BD, especially after I read some of the crazy shit he was posting after I asked to be banned. The day of that incident with the bum was the last time he called my house, thankfully, but I've been able to keep tabs on him since I had his phone number. Dude was in a very bad place mentally at the time. I just felt bad for his kid. Still do. At least I was finally able to convince him (I hope) that threatening people in the middle of the night, and shouting down homeless people on the street with his son there, wasn't exactly the best way to gain custody of his son. Haven't heard from him since that night.

Oh, so taking shots at me is OK, but not explaining yourself. Got it.

Very interesting conversation, KMD. All this time I thought we had an understanding.

We disagree on this issue, and how one should react in a similar situation. I guess I don't think it's that big of a deal.

Hope it's all good between us BG.

A littel pissed at myself for wasting all moring on this. But I'm not surprised emotions are flying around (pointing at myself more than anything) because this is a topic that has the nation debating and being emtional. Nothing wrong for both of us to have strong opinions on a topic like this (murder vs. self defense).

Actually enjoy talking more about this than the Blazers these days . . . pondering this all, I realize am much more productive at work when he Blazers suck as it's bee n a long time since I spent all morning here.

    Cheers!

What happened to the post of ToB calling me "so white" because I was drinking a Pellegrino?

I had to laugh - I rarely buy bottled water (Dude, I am an accountant - I don't spend on that as it's not the most efficient use of resources). I just happened to have some because we bought a bunch for a particular house guest that only drinks Pellegrino and Perrier (and a lot of my wine - bastard). The bottle of Pellegrino was left over from the friend's visit. But it sure was refreshing.

And for the record, I am white, with a few small drops of Cherokee Indian.

No worries, dude. I totally hear you and agree. I'm pretty laid-back, so I rarely take anything personal, even from direct family and friends.

Blazers sucking has, well, sucked. But I have spent less time. Once draft time hits, though, I will certainly be on spending every moment super-anxious and following every tedious rumor.

As for murder v. self-defense.... shit, I don't even both arguing that. I'll let the trial play out. I am really mixed on this, but that's because you're hearing a lot of talk from both sides, and the media. Even Trayvon's mom said a while she doesn't think it was intentional or premeditated. I just hope that whatever happens, the truth can come out and justice is served.
