First time in nine years of owning the Seahawks that he was seen in the draft war room ...

I hope Paul Allen sells the team and arena so that we can get the NHL.

Seems like he's got the same idiots up there making piss poor decisions on draft night, reaching on someone who has bust written all over him

Maybe it's Allen over-riding his personnel people?

Schneider comes from the Green Bay School of GMing and they are totally a BPA team.

They're trying to get more dynamic players on defense. That guys supposed to be a dynamic pass rusher. They'll hope that he adds to Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor. I'm guessing?

Interesting pick. Could have an Aldon Smith effect. Could be a total bust. Apparently, the Seahawks aren't resigned to pick solely character guys like the Blazers are. They seemingly reached last year, too. But they're building a pretty good team up there.

Good point, the 1st round pick has been busted for some crime I don't know. The Seattle media isn't all hung up on things like that, like the Portland media is.

I just don't get the reach. If your gonna pick him trade down in the first again or wait for your second round pick. No one else seemed that high on him and he was expected to be a late second rounder to begin with.

The last player from West Virginia to got that high? Pac Man Jones. That worked out well.

Irvin is definitely an athlete, but most draft guys that I respect (Mike Mayock, Pete Prisco, etc.) sort of think he's a one-trick pony -- an athlete and an edge rusher, but there are questions about his ability to be a 3 down player

For those saying its a reach

RT @AaronQ13fox RT @RobRang Sources from multiple teams indicate Bruce Irvin would've been Jets, Ravens, & 49ers pick in 1st round if available

Slayton and White sure washed out of the NFL quickly.
