NBA is still the most popular sport even with the refs effecting it more then any other professional game.
The Pacers are a fun team to watch. No iso ball, and they move the ball around, play scrappy D. Their lack of a go-to guy inevitably hurt them.
are you serious???? i guarantee you if the mavs could do it all over again they would gladly keep chandler. that dude is a defensive rock plus 11 pts, 10 rebs and 1.4 blocks a game and you think his loss is overrated?
Yes. Mahinmi, Haywood, and Wright collectively get the job done at C. And no, they don't regret it. By design, they were thinking of the future and saving money for DWill and, at the time, Dwight.
wright doesn't play center, so take him out of the equation. mihimi and haywood collectively could barely offer up what chandler gets done by himself, and that's not considering how much better chandler is on the defensive side of the ball. either of those two are nice backups, but neither is a good starting option, where as chandler was a top 10, possibly top 5 center this year. i get why teams like the blazers look to the future but throwing away a title defense and one more year of dirk near the top of his game for the off chance you get williams and/or howard was a dumb move in my opinion. throwing the present away for a team like dallas for the future is absurd. they had a real shot at defending that title and they threw it away on the "chance" that they get williams. i think if they had it to do all over again, they hold on to chandler and pass on odom but hindsight is 20/20.
Wrong. Haywood/Mahinimi/Wright is their "three headed center." They said so several times last night. That is how coach Carlysle plays them. Collectively, their numbers are great. And they haven't thrown the present away. Carter and West more than make up for Barea. This team is good and can win the title again this year. If it weren't for a lucky bounce, the Mavs would've won Game 1 in OKC. Mavs will win this series. Probably in 7 but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Mavs win it in 5. Learn the game, then post.
bigbailes- here is some education for you. Required reading: http://sportsblogs.star-telegram.co...-adequate-replacement-for-tyson-chandler.html
Three headed center last night: 10 points, 13 rebounds, 3 blocks Rebounding is not hurt like the article said it would. The overall numbers are better than Chandler. Checkmate.
McGee shouldn't be playing this many minutes. One of the worst offensive bigs in the game. He has the offensive touch of Dale Davis.
The 3 players played a combined 48 minutes and shot 2 for 9. Per 48, your numbers are very bad, not at all as good as Chandler. The loss of Chandler hurts Dallas a lot. For example, it cost them that game.
By the way, Tyson Chandler only scored 4 points in game one of the playoffs last year. Please learn the game before posting.

You can't compare 1 game to five games. Get back to me after Game 5 when Dallas leads the series. How bout these Grizzlies, by the way? Also, how many games will Rondo be suspended for? At least one, right? Maybe two?
Griffin is pretty average when he's not in a P&R. Randolph is having no problem guarding him on the block.
