Placido Polanco saved a few runs with his sparkling defense. Then when the Philadelphia Phillies needed a clutch hit, the Gold Glove third baseman delivered. Polanco hit a tiebreaking, two-run double in the eighth inning to lift the Phillies to a 6-4 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Monday night.
